Sustainable living is the only way to maintain a wonderful life
for ourselves and generations to come.

Unique solutions to the global warming crisis.

Ideas becoming reality.

Many scientists are now saying "It's too late" to save the Earth and life as we know it due to global warming and other things. We believe we can't give up and must try. Sustainability is an emergency preventative measure to those ends.

As many people are highly charged about the "pro-choice" vs. "pro-life" issue,  most have an opinion. If we don't all act immediately though, there will be no more need for that, animal rights, or environmental arguments. Because there will be no more "life" as we know it.

SusPro.ORG is just one tool of many you can use, and must, if we are to survive. It's no longer "wackos" making absurd claims, simply totally agreed upon scientific fact. Supporting us and our supporters, generously, is a vote for life support. We ARE doing something about it, as much as possible.

sustainable agriculture experiments & development

OUR VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT:

  • Crop production that's high-yield, energy efficient, requires a minimum of land, water, and is practical for most environments.

  • Preserving as much open space as possible, and conserving pure water.

FOOD/CROP PRODUCTION GOAL:

We have no illusions about being able to “feed the world”.  We are however researching and developing unique new ways to dramatically increase crop yields, naturally, based on the Earth’s own ways of sustaining the circle of life, and new, safe, hi-tech “energy” based methods.

We would especially like to help farmers who are struggling or have already been forced out of business, to make a decent living again - in a healthy, sustainable way.  And to help individuals/families who wish to be self-sufficient, and use sustainable methods rather than further depleting limited resources, or wasting expensive energy.

We hope to attain the following with our crop program:

  • 1) Low cost/high yield/high profit/with less effort;

  • 2) Sustainability/self-sufficiency;

  • 3) Ability to use minimal amounts of land;

  • 4) Controlled environment to offset the irregularities of weather;

  • 5) Ability to grow crops just about anywhere - from the tropics to the Himalayas;

  • 6) Maintaining the natural state and health of the land;

  • 7) Conserving and keeping water as pure as possible.

  • 8) Produce better tasting, more nutritious food, or more profitable cash crops.

We believe we can show that this can be achieved more efficiently and easily on a few acres, than with hundreds of acres that are at the mercy of the weather and disasters.

We are developing experimental and hybrid methods of food production that can feed families and assist the production and profits of small family farmers. We believe this is vital, regardless of whether or not you believe that the continuing climatic irregularities, or the many other food depleting aspects of global changes, will seriously impact normal food production. The Earth's resources are not unlimited, but they can be used in a way that makes them virtually unlimited.

Sustainable and alternative methods of food production can increase the "yield/growing area" ratio. We can turn areas that were formerly useless for growing crops into environmentally controlled, small, hi-yield greenhouse production areas. This will increase dependable profitability for farmers (or produce more food for a family than traditional gardening) while maintaining open lands for ranchers.

We plan to use “no side-effect” hi-tech breakthroughs (and some time-proven ancient concepts not often used today) to grow crops in harsh conditions, and in areas that crop production has previously been considered impossible. We will then hopefully, open a sustainable living educational center and retreat.

Here are some of the technology and experimental systems we will be integrating:

    1. Using unique heritage seeds from many varieties, for strength, disease resistance, and the ability to withstand different harsh environments.
    2. Using, combining, and experimenting with all harmless, cutting edge, appropriate technologies in new and innovative ways.
      1. Quantumponics - A revolutionary system of electrically "energizing" plant nutrient solutions which appears to nearly double crop growth, and makes plants much stronger and more disease resistant. The potential for impacting profits of small family farmers and easing world hunger through doubled crop production in limited growing space is staggering. Quantumponics photos.
      2. Tropf Blumats - A Scandinavian drip irrigation system that actually senses the water needs of the plants IN SOIL and provides the perfect amount for each plant. It is totally passive- needs no electricity. Because it customizes the nutrient flow to each individual plant, it optimizes plant growth and health (making them more naturally resistant to disease and pests). See tropf blumats photo.
      3. Sonic Bloom - This will be another experimental system to be integrated with our others. It uses sound and special leaf applied nutrient sprays to enhance growth. They claim it dramatically increases crop yield and size. The sounds mimic birds at dawn, and they claim this creates a natural reaction in the plants that increases nutrient uptake. Photos coming. See videos and their products on our links page.
      4. Smart valves - A proven HYDROPONIC nutrient delivery device that uses a float valve mechanism to passively sense the nutrient solution needs of individual plants. This allows the plant to control its own requirements for nutrient solution/water, maximizing production while minimizing nutrient and water use. Using no electricity, we intend to apply these in unique ways, using fish waste as nutrient in a passive aquaponics system. Click here for Autopot smart valves photos and how it was used to successfully grow tomatoes in Paraguay, where other regular & hydroponic efforts failed.
      5. Aquaponics. Aquaponics duplicates the natural symbiotic relationship between fish and plants. For instance, the water from a pond that contains fish waste, is a great fertilizer for the plants around the pond, and the plants filter the water for the fish. See our links page for aquaponics for now. Special aquaponics page and photos coming soon.
